Rick J. LaCombe, OD
Dr. LaCombe was born in Cottonport, LA. and his family moved to Marksville, LA when he was 8 years old. He graduated from Marksville High School in 1976.

In 1982, Dr. LaCombe received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. As part of his training, he did eye disease externships in Biloxi, MS and Baton Rouge, LA. The externship in Baton Rouge led to a 7 year associate opportunity with Dr. Thomas Hebert, a prominent surgeon for many years in the Baton Rouge area.

Between 1990 and 1994, Dr. LaCombe was able to work at a variety of practices throughout the state of Louisiana.

In 1995, LaCombe Eye Center was established by Dr. LaCombe and is still at its original location, though now, a much larger facility. The location is also the practice home for two excellent associates, Dr. Sara Armand and Dr. Marcus Andrepont.

Dr. LaCombe is therapeutically certified and is a member of the American Optometry Association, the Optometry Association of Louisiana, and the South Central Louisiana Optometric Society.

Specialty areas of practice: general eye care, contact lenses, eye disease management (including glaucoma, dry eye, conjunctivitis, foreign body removal), and interdisciplinary consultations.

Dr. LaCombe is married to the former Pennie Vicknair and they have a beautiful daughter named Carly Annay.

Marcus D. Andrepont, OD
Dr. Marcus Andrepont is originally from Eunice, LA. He attended Louisiana State University at Eunice where he earned his Associate of Science Degree. He subsequently attended the University of Houston where he acquired his Bachelor of Science degree and later his Doctor of Optometry degree.

Shortly after acquiring his license to practice in Texas, he also acquired his license to practice in Louisiana and returned to his home state. In 1982, Dr. Andrepont completed his externship at Fork Polk Army Hospital Eye Clinic. He first practiced in New Orleans, then came to Lafayette in 1984 and has practiced in the area ever since. Dr. Andrepont has been an associate of LaCombe Eye Center since 2000.

Dr. Andrepont is therapeutically certified and is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Optometry Association of Louisiana, and the South Central Louisiana Optometric Society.

Specialty areas of practice: general eye care, including pediatric eye care, contact lenses, eye disease management (including glaucoma, dry eye, conjunctivitis, foreign body removal), and interdisciplinary consultations.

Dr. Andrepont is married to Dr. Francine Manuel and has 2 children, Aimée and Stephan.

Sara B. Armand, O.D.
Dr. Sara Bordelon Armand was born and raised in Cottonport, LA. She graduated from Bunkie High School in 1998. From there, she attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she received her Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 2002.

In 2006, Dr. Armand received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. During her studies at Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Armand completed externships at the Memphis VA hospital focusing on primary care optometry and eye disease. She also completed an externship with Dr. Peter Benvenuto in Bartlett, TN focusing on primary care optometry and contact lenses.

In June 2006, Dr. Armand began working as an associate doctor at LaCombe Eye Center in Lafayette, LA.

Dr. Armand is therapeutically certified and is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Optometric Association of Louisiana, and the South Central Louisiana Optometric Society.

Dr. Armand is married to Cade Armand, also of Cottonport.
